Product Manager
Establish the map for threading AI through supply chain

MACRO-EYES is recruiting a Product Manager to establish and drive the roadmap for one or more of our AI-driven products for supply chain. We're building technology that enables the self-driving supply chain. You will work in a dynamic environment and lead the end-to-end lifecycle of product development. You will work directly with a talented team of designers, cross-functional engineers, machine learning scientists and subject area specialists across the organization. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities for collaboration and product integration. You will engage corporations, national leaders and frontline health workers from around the world with the most advanced technology on the planet.

Your success will result in scaling life changing solutions for the world’s most vulnerable populations. Your designs will save lives.

The Macro-Eyes team is spread across Africa, Europe, and North America. We believe in recruiting the best talent in the world, regardless of location. This role will be fully remote with the freedom to choose how and when to work. Our remote team was executing at the highest level before COVID-19, and we expect to continue to be a fully remote, high-performing team. You will have access to your choice of hardware and a travel budget to interact with the distributed team in person.

  • Build for need – build with precision
  • Collaborate with and influence key stakeholders from international customers including ministries of health and international donors.
  • Define and manage product roadmap including KPI’s to support and inform product decisions. Operational excellence.
  • Capture, document, and communicate business requirements.
  • Translate requirements into features and user stories. Ensure technical team understanding of requirements.
  • Own project status updates to customers, stakeholders, and leadership.
  • Leverage strong communication skills and a passion for using data to drive better health outcomes at scale
  • Works directly with other managers and leaders to identify opportunities to improve Macro-Eyes products, tools, and analytics.
  • Travel as needed to conduct and lead user interviews, engaging with our partners in sub-Saharan Africa and other locations.

  • 5-10 years experience delivering and overseeing digital interventions and initiatives in multiple country contexts, preferably health related in low-income countries.
  • Comprehensive experience in product discovery, demo design and rapid-testing methods
  • A data-first mindset with proven track record of delivering successful products
  • Comfortable working as part of a small team in a fast-paced, collaborative but unstructured environment
  • Experience working on dynamic cross-functional teams
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • The capability to illustrate a vision that compels a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders to work toward a common goal
  • The art and science of understanding how to use what people want to deliver what they need

We’re excited if you also have these capabilities:

  • Prefer fluency in French and experience with international donor funded projects
  • Experience working with teams using Sprint development processes
